MCPS parents, guardians, and students, As we approach Valentine's Day, please remember MCPS policy regarding gifts and deliveries: 💌 Schools cannot accept deliveries of Valentine's Day gifts as we do not have staff available to receive the deliveries. 🎈 Students are not allowed bring balloons to school, as they can obstruct staff's ability to see on buses, in hallways, and in classrooms. 💐 Glass vases are not permitted in schools as they can pose a danger if dropped and broken. Thank you for your understanding and your cooperation!

Last week, MMS students in Mrs. Woody’s 6th grade history class created salt dough relief maps of the US! 🌎 The class has been studying the 8 geographical regions of the US, and this project was designed to help them understand the topography of the US before they begin learning about explorers, land acquisition, and early American battles.
